The Austrian Youth Hostel Association (OEJHV) was founded in 1946 and has 12 hostels and also owns many contract hostels in Austria. These modern, well-appointed hostels offer travelers approximately 3,000 beds in the entire country of Austria.

As a member of Hostelling International, the largest non-profit Room service in the world in 80 countries around the world, the OEJHV is part of a comprehensive global network for travelers, who are looking for a low cost accommodation.

We recommend the international youth hostel card, which you can order as Austrian or foreigner living in Austria for a low annual fee from us, the Austrian Youth Hostel Association online.
